Job Experiences
 
Since September 2008,he was Coordinator in Venezuela of CISV (Comunitá Impegno Servizio Volontario = Community for the Volunteer Service), NOG of International cooperation in Turin. I am an expatriate coordinator of two projects supported from the Europen Community, which will last 4 years: “Construyendo futuro una red para la defensa de los Derechos Humanos” e “Programa de fortalecimiento de la Sociedad Civil Andina”
 
Since 1999, Caribbean Cooperative of Tourism. I am one of the founders and coordinator of the formative section of the Cooperative, which promotes a sustainable tourism in Venezuela together with some agencies in Italy, France and Spain. Since 2008 we are developing supporting projects for some rural communities located in the mountains, especially through two projects: 1 - Courses to build solar panels in order to warm the water; 2 - Program "Bibliomula", to bring some books with a mule to spread schools.
 
March 2006 to March 2008, Coordinator in Venezuela of COSV (Milan) of two projects: “Programa de educación de Líderes Comunitarios y Funcionarios Públicos de la región andina de Venezuela, para el fomento de la cultura de los Derechos Humanos de los grupos vulnerables” and “Programa de fortalecimiento de la capacidad de respuesta de la Fundación Don Bosco a la problemática de niños y adolescentes en situación de riesgo y exclusión del Estado Mérida” both with the financial support of the European Community.
 
August 2000 to March 2005,Coordinator in COSV (Comitato di Coordinamento delle Organizzazioni del Servizio Volontario = Committee for the Coordination of the Volunteers' Organizations), NOG of International cooperation in Milan.
I coordinated emergency projects financed by the Italian Government and under control of the UNDP (United Nations Program for Development) in Caracas. The projects planned the rebuilding of 4 rural schools which had been destroyed during the floods in December 1999. During the project I realized some contacts and plans for the promotion of International cooperation, which I then exposed to different financing entities: EU, North American foundations, Venezuelan government, Foreign Affairs in Rome, and so on.
 
1999 – 2000,Social Cooperative “Cauto” (Self-Limited Cooperative), Brescia (Italia). The Cooperative deals with environmental problems and helps people with troubles to find a job (running of rubbish bins, separate refuse collection door to door, social dispensation, second-hand market, technical-legal assistance for the environmental management, gardening, and so on).
 
1998 – 1999, “Etimos” and Banca Popolare Etica di Padova (Italia). I suggested some pilot projects in Venezuela for small rural companies to obtain financial support (through microcredits), which use sustainable and eco-friendly technologies for their activities.
 
Since 1998Founder and member of the Association TURES (Sustainable Tourism) in Brescia (Italia). The association deals with alternative tourism, offering trips to South America, Asian and Africa to know their real social and political conditions, thanks to local NOG, and organizes the formative meetings in Italy regarding intercultural education. I travelled with some groups in Venezuela, as a tour guide and intercultural intermediary.
 
1997 – 1999, Cooperation with CIRPS (Universitary Center of Research for the Third World Countries) of University "La Sapienza" in Rome (Italy). I cooperated with a study on the social impact of sustainable technologies, called "Seneca" (Scelte ENErgetiche per il Cambiamento = Energetic Choices for a Change) and carried forward by a group of graduates and doctors.
 
In December 1992 I took part to a venture in Sarajevo (Ex Yugoslavia) of “Beati i Costruttori di Pace” of Padova “Solidarietà' di pace a Sarajevo” for a non-violent mission in a war region.
 
From September 1991 to 1993 I stayed with the "Comunità del Cammino" at the ex Capuchin Monastry in Collevecchio (Rieti), which organizes formative human-christian meetings and welcomes groups of people in need.
 
From July 1990 to September 1991I was operator in a community for the recovery of drugs addicted and support for HIV patients in Vobarno (BS). The community gives psychologic, moral and physical support, together with rural activities (farm animals breeding, production of cheese, gardening, and much more).
 
From 1987 to 1990 I was an International voluteer in South America (Venezuela) ) with a rural parish. I was in charge of the CEBs (Comunità Ecclesiali di Base - Base Church Communities) an of the youth groups of the local parish. I also worked in a Formative Center for local farmers to teach new rural methods, to organize micro-farms and so on.
 
Schooling and others
 
In 1999, Specialization course for "Rural development and cooperation for Third World Countries" at the Agricultural Faculty of Padua University. The course also included a trip to Venezuela, which I took part to as guide together with 15 students. At the end of the course I submitted a thesis on "The human sustainable development: the Càtedra de la Paz as example of Venezuelan NOG".
 
1996 – 1997, I attended two years the SPICES School (School of International Politic, Cooperation and Development) at the Focsiv (Federation of Christian Organizations for the International Voluteer Service) in Rome. Each year I discussed a final thesis, the first one was "The United Nations and its Reformation" and the second was "South America: between globalization and modernity".
 
June 1998 Graduated in Sociology,final grade 108/110, my thesis was "The development theories for South America", at Urbino University
