Golfing is good: the Germano Chincherini Memorial tournament helps the underprivileged
On the first days of June 2013, the 11th edition of the Pro-Am Tournament-Germano Chincherini Memorial took place at the Golf Club Paradiso golf course. Several professional and amateur golfers, coming from throughout Italy, took part in it. The event has now established itself as one of the most important golf tournaments in Italy, its success being due to both the good playing level and the charitable purpose of its organization. All of the money collected was donated to the Germano Chincherini Foundation, which will use it to effectively help many disadvantaged people in the developing countries. The Foundation is now finishing the construction of a third block of foster homes in Ukunda, Kenya, which will house 80 children, beside the 72 already living in the other two homes built by the Foundation.
